As indicated in the provided data above, Tanya feature boasts an extensive library of over 600,000+ solution videos, accompanied by a daily watch time exceeding 500,000+ hours. This substantial viewership has led the product team to recognize the potential of the Tanya feature as a viable revenue stream for the company. In light of this insight, our product team has embarked on a strategic initiative to assess the viability of an ads-free offering for the Tanya feature. This initiative involves conducting tests with thousands of students. It is our considered expectation that we can confidently anticipate a minimum conversion rate of 1% among these users, ultimately leading to an increase in our base of paid subscribers.

CoLearn is an online learning application equipped with various features, including Online Private Tutoring, Photo-Based Question & Answer, and Exercises. CoLearn has been designed as an educational platform aimed at assisting elementary, middle, and high school students in mastering subjects such as Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry, enabling them to work on their assignments independently.

Other than that 4 touchpoint. we also try A/B testing on aggressive and passive approach : • A Version - aggressive touchpoint, when user tap on one of the video they will see the pop up telling that they can watch the video without ads. They will have 2 option, the first one is the main CTA where they will subscribe Tanya ads-free or the second one where they can still watch the video but with ads in it. • B Version - passive touchpoint, in other way we did the passive one where user will always see the sticky bottom banner and it will disappear once user tap on it

Based on the users feedback I found out that they lack of awareness with Tanya ads-free product because they are in hurry and tend to skip the offering at the end, that’s why based on my discussion with stakeholders (PM and Lead Designer) we decided to add more touchpoint to increase the awareness of the product, here’s the places that we put new touchpoint:

After receiving the project brief, I do some benchmark to subscription giants like Spotify, YouTube, and Netflix to see how their subscription works. After that due to time constraints, I directly create High fidelity design to speed up the project and make visualizing the concept easier.

The user flow is relatively straightforward, with various touchpoints strategically placed to enhance user engagement. Our testing has revealed a concerning lack of awareness among users regarding our Tanya ads-free product, primarily attributed to the limited presence of touchpoints in the Minimum Viable Product (MVP). To gain a clearer understanding of this flow, please refer to the diagram below:

• We placed bottom sheet when user open the app because it has a good conversion in our first testing • Changing banner in Homepage into Tanya ads-free banner and since it’s in the top it will attract the attention at the first glance • Put banner inside the hamburger menu so user can see Tanya ads-free more prominent • Add animated red dot to inform user that there is a new thing they can see
